UCA has secured participation for members and their households in The Shopping Service (TSS). TSS provides members with access to over 300,000 brand name products.

TSS is a premier telephone and web-enabled shopping service that can save you up to 50% on over 300,000 brand name items ordered from the convenience of your own home.

How to Use this Service:

  1. Simply shop for the product you wish to purchase.
  2. Write down the product name, model numbers, style or optional features of the items that interest you.
  3. Call the toll-free customer service number on your UCA membership card or log into the Members' Guide on www.ucacard.com with your group and membership numbers to gain links to all your programs.
  4. Identify the item you wish to purchase by: product name, price, description/options and the name, address and phone number of the store, catalog, or the business where you saw the item.

NOTE: TSS and its vendors comply with all applicable laws and regulations concerning consumer goods. Therefore, products and services restricted by law or the manufacturers are not available. Certain restrictions, conditions, and limitations do apply.

Extended Warranty Registration Program

Get added protection. Get double the repair period of the manufacturer's warranty (up to an additional 12 months) on most consumer products purchased through our Buying Network when you pay in full and register with our Administration Center.

The Extended Warranty Registration Program applies to most consumer products that have the original manufacturer's US warranty (excluding items on which the original warranty exceeds five years. The program does not cover commercial products, home furnishings, jewelry, automobiles, trucks or other motorized vehicles. Consequential damages or loss from the consumer product and/or attorney fess are not covered. In the event of a split manufacturer's warranty, the shortest period will be doubled. The Claims Administrator will arrange repairs that would have been specifically covered under the terms of the original manufacturer's US warranty and reserves the right to replace a product rather than repair it. Coverage is subject to a limit of $2,500 per member per calendar year.

Order What You Want at Prices You Can Afford....At Your Convenience

You will be mailed a written confirmation of your purchase within five (5) business days from the date that your order was taken. Prices may vary up until the written confirmation is mailed to you. This confirmation will include the approximate delivery date. Most items are shipped in two to four weeks. Items such as custom appliances and custom-ordered furniture may take eight weeks or more. Small packages are delivered by UPS; larger items, such as furniture, will come by common carrier. In every case, shipment is made by the most efficient method possible.

If merchandise arrives damaged, accept the merchandise, note which pieces are damaged on the freight bill and call TSS immediately (within 6 hours) for assistance. Retain all of the original packing and cartons in which the goods arrive. If possible do not unpack or move the cartons.

Products may be returned. Since certain restrictions may apply, please call TSS within ten (10) business days from the date that you receive the merchandise to receive instructions on how to return the purchase. Merchandise that has been customized, such as initials or dates on jewelry, custom furniture, automobiles or “special order” merchandise may not be returned. In the event that authorization to return is issued for any reason other than that the member has received merchandise other than what was ordered, the member shall be responsible for all shipping and handling charges as well as any restocking fees charged by the vendor.

Purchases made through TSS come with manufacturer's warranties and/or guarantees. If an item needs service, contact the manufacturer's authorized service center to arrange for the necessary service. We make no warranty of merchandise fitness for a particular purpose or warranty of merchantability, or any other warranties, expressed or implied, with respect to merchandise purchased. If you would like to receive a copy of the manufacturer’s warranty on a specific model you are interested in purchasing, simply send your request and a self addressed stamped envelope to Member Services, 1620 Bond Street, Naperville IL 60563.

Double-The-Difference Savings Guarantee
Shop with Confidence.

A registered and active Member may apply for payment under the terms of the savings guarantee if an item which he/she has purchased through TSS is advertised for less (exclusive of shipping, handling, taxes and rebates, if any) by an authorized retail business* within the 30-day period following the order date. The Member must submit valid proof of the lower price to apply for a savings guarantee payment. (Delivery of the item purchased through the Shopping Service must take place within the 48 contiguous states.)

The Member submits "valid proof", the verifiable advertisement showing the item, price, manufacturer, model number and sales date, as well as the name and address of the local retail store for the identical product to the Shopping Service, along with the Purchase Order Number and Member Number under which he/she purchased the merchandise. The term "identical product" shall mean non-defective, in-stock merchandise carrying the same manufacturer's model number, color, description, warranty and/or guarantee. Merchandise that is damaged in any way, discontinued, defective, a second, or a floor sample does not qualify as an identical product. A Member is entitled to one savings guarantee payment for each different model ordered.

Upon verification of the retail price, the Member will be sent a check for double the difference in price between the price paid for the merchandise through the Shopping Service and the retail price. The Savings Guarantee does not apply to loss leader or limited availability items, cash only sales, close-outs, returned items, computers and related products **, employee discounts, vehicles, pricing attained through the Internet, DVD's, CD's, loose or set stones, travel, gourmet foods, tires and special or negotiated arrangements. In order to effectively process the request for a savings guarantee payment, the request must be received by our office within thirty (30) days of the date that the purchase order was placed. Allow thirty (30) days for processing after the Member's order has been shipped and received.

*The term "retail business" shall mean a business selling consumer goods at a profit in an arms length transaction to the general public on a regular basis. This does not include charities, government subsidized outlets, Internet sales, other subsidized businesses, buying or membership clubs, builders or contractors. **Computer industry products include printers, monitors, mice, cables, memory expansion cards, disk drives, personal computers, etc. You can apply for a refund of double the difference in price if within thirty days of placing your order through TSS, you provide valid proof that the item you purchased is advertised for less (exclusive of shipping, handling, taxes and rebates) by an authorized retail business.
